Somatic therapy focuses on the deep connection between the body and the mind. It recognizes that trauma isn't just about what happened to you—it's about how you experienced it, emotionally and physically. The body holds on to these unresolved experiences, often long after the mind has tried to move on. Somatic therapy helps access and release these pent-up emotions stored in the body, creating space for healing, regulation, and a renewed sense of safety and wholeness.
Somatic techniques include gentle supportive practices, such as, breathing exercises, movement, paying attention to body sensations, grounding, and guided relaxation. These help you feel more present, safe, and connected to your body as you heal.
Approximately 90 minutes
